Instructions for Presentations

At the National Conference, we encourage presenters to effectively communicate their research, engage the audience, and highlight key findings. Please follow the guidelines below to prepare for your presentation.

Presentation Types

    Oral Presentations:
  • Duration: 8–10 minutes for the presentation, followed by 2–3 minutes for Q&A.
  • Virtual Presentations:
  • Conducted via Zoom. Ensure a stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free environment.
  • Poster Presentations (if applicable):
  • Use clear visuals and concise text. Be prepared to engage with attendees and discuss your work.

Preparation Guidelines

Content Structure :
  • Title Slide : Include the paper title, author(s), and affiliation.
  • Introduction : Briefly introduce the research background and objectives.
  • Methodology : Clearly explain your research methods.
  • Results & Discussion : Present key findings using data, charts, and images.
  • Conclusion : Summarize findings and suggest future research directions.
  • References & Acknowledgments : Keep these sections brief and to the point.
Slide Design :
  • Use clear fonts like Arial or Calibri (size 24+ for headings, 18+ for content).
  • Maintain a professional, simple design with consistent colors.
  • Avoid excessive text; use bullet points instead of long paragraphs.
  • Support your data with relevant visuals like graphs, charts, and images.

Technical Requirements

  • Format : Submit your slides in PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) or PDF format.
  • File Naming : Name your file as “PresenterName_PaperTitle” for easy identification.
  • Backup : Have a copy of your presentation saved on a USB drive or cloud storage.

During the Presentation

  • Time Management : Stick to your allotted time. Rehearse your presentation for a smooth delivery.
  • Engagement : Speak clearly and maintain eye contact. Interact with the audience.
  • Handling Q&A : Listen carefully to questions, respond concisely, and acknowledge when unsure of an answer.

For Virtual Presenters

  • Technical Check : Test your microphone, camera, and internet connection before the event.
  • Quiet Environment : Ensure a noise-free background with good lighting for clear visibility.
  • Backup Plan : Keep your presentation file easily accessible in case of technical issues.
